This nautilis shell was on my father's library shell for many years. When I placed it in the sun to paint it I was amazed at it's translucence, it was a joy to paint.

This 8 x 8 inch original oil painting was completed on archival natural linen panel. The natural linen keeps the beachy, casual vibe of this painting.
